Add a map in your colors to your Wix site
Paste one iframe into an Embed HTML element. It takes under 3 minutes, with no account or API key. The map takes your site’s colors, with your own pin icon.
Setup in under 3 minutes
- Paste your website’s address. DoMaps reads your colors.
- Add your address, pick a pin icon and copy the code.
- Paste the code into your site, or ask your AI agent to do it.
No account or API key needed. Open the editor
Get your map code
Make the map in the editor and copy the code it gives you. The editor also gives you the save link.
Get your map code from the editorThe code from the editor looks like this, with your map’s id in place of MAP_ID:
<iframe src="https://map.domaps.app/m/MAP_ID" title="Map: Café Example" loading="lazy" allow="geolocation"
style="width: 100%; height: 420px; border: 0; border-radius: 16px;"></iframe> Steps
-
Copy the map code from the DoMaps editor.
-
In the Wix Editor, click Add Elements.
-
Click Embed Code, then Embed HTML under Popular Embeds.
-
Click the new element, then click Enter Code.
-
Paste the map code and click Apply.
-
Drag the element’s handles to the size you want, then publish your site.
Save the map before you publish
A new map works without an account for up to 1,000 views a month. An unsaved map can’t be edited later, so decide about saving before you publish. A map from the editor comes with a private save link, and step 3 of the editor saves it with your email. A saved map gets 10,000 views a month on the Free plan. Keep the save link to yourself and never put it on your site.
Troubleshooting
- Your site is built in Wix Studio
- Click Add Elements, then Embed & Social, then Embed Code. Click Enter Code, paste the map code and click Apply.
- The map is cut off
- Wix shows embedded code inside a frame the size of the element. Make the element at least as tall as the map (420px in the editor’s code), or lower the height in the code.
- The map doesn’t resize on phones
- Wix says code in its HTML elements isn’t responsive. Check the page on mobile too and adjust the element’s size.
- The map says it is paused
- It reached a view limit. The docs list each notice and what to do.
More fixes are in the docs. Wix’s own help: Wix Editor: Embedding a site or a widget.

Questions
Can I paste the map’s link instead of the code?
Yes. Wix’s Embed a site element takes a web address. Use the src address from the map code, the part that starts with https://map.domaps.app.
Do I need an API key or an account?
No. The map works as soon as the code is on the page, for up to 1,000 views a month. Save it with your email to edit it later and get 10,000 views a month on the Free plan.
Does the map set cookies?
No. The map sets no cookies and uses no local storage in the visitor’s browser.
